The thing that I forget

The thing that I forget
Is the thing I try to remember

As I hungrily eat my food
The food that I reject
Is the food that I later search for

I love with a great love
The things that I have
But the things I do not have
Overpower me with hurt

If with a pair of scissors
I could cut shapes out of the air
Of any shape I want
And make it real

It would be the love I do not have
It would be you
