Sometimes pigeons seem to be out of their depth, they preen themselves and care for themselves, but their appetites lead them into environments that they are not designed for.
Just like man who populates places inhospitable, but because of being fiercely territorial, because of governments, and because of lovelessness they cannot move on and are suffering.
Little pigeon you’re out of your depth
Your feet cannot grasp the stone
You preen and plump and go glassy-eyed
And suffer right down to the bone
Your enormous appetite and need for energy to fly, heads you into environments false and crude, searching the cracks of pavements for food and man follows your footsteps to populate ice and sand but because of territories and governments they must make a life where they stand
It’s the lovelessness of the system
It’s the stupidity of human wisdom
