He was blind
In his skull
He could not see
His heart was
Cold steel
It could not beat
His life was death
He fought so hard
He could not live
He was drunk with rage
In his days
And in his nights
He was alone
He was blind
In his skull
He could not see
His heart was
Cold steel
It could not beat
His life was death
He fought so hard
He could not live
He was drunk with rage
In his days
And in his nights
He was alone

Thank you desert flower, I wrote a series of poems in one go. They were more connected than usual like yesterdays poems “hiding the blame” that came out about my childhood. The grain man poem i was looking for lyrics; the idea came from the news of the destroyed Lebanese grain silos but the ideas used loosely, universally. Not all of yesterdays poems posted though, I started with some very angry poetry which i kept to myself.

The pleasure is all mine. I read a lot of your poems yesterday. You literally got under the skin of the topic. You did a great job. I would even love to see what the anger management poem therapy produced out of you. You are a writer and feel free to engage every emotion out there and staple it to words on a paper. You are doing a great job. keep up the good work

Your comment is great, after reading it I couldn’t breathe, almost. I’ve printed them out to put on my kitchen notice board, so many thanks.

I really like the writings of “negative” stuff being descriptive and not judgemental, like this poem, it allows to develop the complex aspects, and it shall speak by itself.
