In the icy sunset

In the icy sunsets charm of D minor
I can hear a yellow river
Flowing into a red sea
I can hear the preparations of the bride to be – in D minor

In the ice flows of the northern territory
Where the blood of whales fills the sea
I hear the drone of Canadian geese
Flying leeward in to the thunder

In the icy sunsets charm
Of their brutal tuxedoed arm
Where because of a dreams alarm
There is a desert frozen by nights decree

In the chiming rigging of D minors lemon liqueur
Lips struggle for breath
Courage is wrapped in gold leaf
And ghosts descend the palace steps

and the bride hides what she has left
The arpeggio of D minor
