Midi song: little stack

This instrumental was more or less experimental midi music. Written in about 1999 when I discovered very old style music software on Windows 97 or something. Midi files were standard musical instrument sound files that were written onto a music roll and it introduced me to writing music. This was before a DAW become more complicated and I loved working with the midi file concept.

Writing “little stack” was a self-challenge to see what I could come up with. A stack is a little rocky island on the Scottish coastline surrounded by sea and so I tried to capture the movement of the waves around it. Since writing it nobody, as yet, has liked it much, oh well, anyway, I’m pleased with it.
