The rivers of Eden

I wonder did she play her horn
Outside the gates of Eden
A lonely daughter of long ago born
Into Eden

Did she sit outside, upon a seat?
And play her horn near the angels feet
Who guarded the gates?
Of Eden

And as she played
Did the garden decay?
Did the flowers melt?
And the trees break away
From Eden

And when he saw there a nothing left
Did her tears fall down her chest?
Like with the rivers of Babylon
Flowing from Eden

And will we all
come to weep
Beside the rivers
Of Eden
