The buffalo spokesman

So the spokesman
For the buffalo stepped up
To Congress

The big man said
Speak
It could not speak

Take away this buffalo
He said
To his chief of staff

Take away the plain
And the tall grass

Impudent
Buffalo
That’ll teach you

To waste the time
Of the wealthy few
