I went to university to learn music
But all they taught me was the hand in an iron glove
They thought I was there for the parties
Or to practice black magic in the rehearsal studio
I walked in as snow lay on the floor
A snow lady smiled and printed out forms
They gathered them together to a place called Armageddon
And gave them some music to play
Have you ever seen the walls go by so fast?
Like ice skates across the walls of time
I was in their hands like a tambourine of spikes
I rattled about like a child in a biscuit tin
As the knots grew tighter around my foolish heart
The lectures started to scream like effigies
Suddenly the road block appeared ahead
Manned by all my school teachers scowling like animal traps
