You’re a black swan
You live in a marble palace
You want all men to look at you
To be the centre of the world
I saw you out there swimming
By where the people come
Amazed to find you all alone
You, black swan
Come and look at me, come on
Aren’t I the beautiful one?
Do what I say and we’ll be OK
Was the command of black swan
The world outside the palace walls
Were sucked int her song
Listen while I command my beauty to you all
-Said black swan
With the lake in sunshine
The lute players would play away
Songs about her beauty
They were made to play all day
She’s fly above the mountains
High above the sun
So high that non could save her
Look what black swan had done
And all the white swans wondered
And soon they flew away
For where ever black swan wandered
It caused them much dismay
It was not that she was different
It was not about her class
It not about her privilege
It about her heart of glass
No one would go near her
No one would go upon
All her words were about herself
How beautiful she’d become
Then one dark night of fear
When everyone had gone
A man with a pointed spear
Went and killed black swan
I thank you, Blackbird, We must build a better world and it is still possible even at this late date. It occurred to a friend that sharks are attacking because of climate change. My best wishes to you. 🙂

Thank you. There have been reports of sharks around Britain, but no attacks as far as I know
