Micky Texas

Micky Texas
Have you seen him?
Riding on his lone star
Across the sky

I got my guns from Woolworths
I got my hat from an Oxfam shop
I made my spurs from wire that I twisted round my shoe
I didn’t have a horse and that made me sad

Did you see Micky Texas?
Pass by in his private jet
A Texas oil millionaire
A man of independence

I tried to ride the range
But the famer chased me away
I tried to go west
But the policeman took me home

But Micky Texas
He has a real ranch
As far as you can see
And all the horses run free
