And the rainbow brought the spring
And she didn’t say very much
She sat at my table
She kissed me in the darkness

The rainbow brought you summer
And she walked down the lane
And she told me that she loved me
And that I would never feel any pain

The rainbow brought autumn
And still I hadn’t learnt
That she came with the sun
And left with the rain

And the rainbow brought winter
And windows in the soul
And waterfalls and fires
And footsteps in the snow
