The south magnetic pole of the heart
Likes the north magnetic pole of the earth
In some places it will not become attracted
but in others, it is hard to move it away
I am drawn by the magnetic fields of the soul of the earth
I am attached to the vapour trails of comets magnetic sparks of dust fallen to earth
I find a bed on the magnetic mattress of the earth’s womb
I seek a place for my tears in the magnetic Gods cwms of mountain sides
I am drawn by the magnetic eyes of female’s gondoliers
I am attracted to the south side walkways of wonder and spirit dreams
I leave the family pathways to seek out the magnetic eyes glowing in dark porticoes
I follow magnetic butterflies through the high streets and shopping centres
I am drawn to leather chairs in secluded waiting rooms
I sleep on an ocean of magnetism bubbling up through the ground
There in the fire is an ember glowing alone; I save it in a vault in the middle of winter darkness
An ember that never goes out somewhere at the heart of the universe
It’s just a exploration of the magnetic poles,
